Developed through its Socio-Educational Centre and six homes, São Martinho's Emergency Line proposes action along with children and adolescents who live on the streets, unsupported and without hope. The main goal is to help save the dignity and citizenship of these boys and girls, offering not only an opportunity for nourishment and shelter, but most importantly, an alternative lifestyle. Winning their trust and respect is the first step towards presenting them with the real possibility of a new social environment, which, while indicating a better future, already allows them, from the very start, a more dignified and brotherly present.
